Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/I&C to ensure reliability and long-term performance of critical power systems. You will apply engineering analysis and collaborate with teams to support safe energy delivery for APS customers.

Responsibilities include developing long-range system plans, evaluating technical challenges, and guiding colleagues while driving continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree and 5 years of engineering experience required.
• Masters degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and safety practices in engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications, and verifications.
• Ensure design and calculations comply with standards and regulations.
• Interface with customers and departments to meet project objectives and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and staff.
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
