Job summary

APS (Arizona Public Service) seeks an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/I&C to ensure reliability and long‑term performance of critical power infrastructure. You will apply analysis and engineering judgment to support projects and system plans for safe energy delivery to communities served by APS.

Qualifications

BS in engineering from ABET-accredited program required.
Five years of engineering-related experience preferred.
Masters may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, and evaluations.
Ensure compliance with design, regulatory, operating and maintenance requirements.
Provide technical guidance and lead cross‑functional teams on projects.
Present findings to management and customers; support decision making.
Mentor peers and drive continuous improvement across the department.
Oversee programs and coordinate with stakeholders to meet objectives.
