Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Knowledge of codes, standards and safety in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develops unique solutions for a broad range of technical issues with strategic impact.
• Prepares complex engineering plans, designs, analyses, and cost estimates.
• Integrates elements of large projects and ensures compliance with standards.
• Interfaces with customers and management to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
• Leads and mentors engineers, providing guidance and support.
• Challenses assumptions to ensure optimal solutions and long-range strategies.
• Leverages resources to resolve key technical issues and interfaces with authorities.
• Plans large-scale projects, allocates staff and resources, and negotiates contracts.
• Monitors projects and recommends modifications to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Researches new developments and evaluates feasibility for company operations.
