Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative engineering solutions supporting APS’s mission. You will apply advanced engineering expertise to complex projects, resolve challenging technical issues, and influence strategic decisions across the organization.

As a trusted expert, you will provide technical judgment, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• ABET or international equivalent engineering degree with 8+ years in engineering roles.
• Masters degree can substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies engineering solutions to complex issues with broad impact.
• Prepares engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications, cost estimates and verifications to standards and regulations.
• Integrates multiple elements of large projects and ensures schedule, budget and customer requirements are met.
• Interfaces with customers and other departments to align objectives and present technical data.
