Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company is seeking an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/I&C to ensure reliability and long-term performance of critical power systems. You will apply engineering analysis and collaborate with project teams to develop safe, efficient solutions for APS service areas, including PVNGS considerations.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited Bachelors in Engineering required.
Minimum 5 years engineering experience.
Master's degree may substitute for 1 year of required experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering plans, designs, analyses, specifications and evaluations.
Ensure compliance with design, regulatory, operating and maintenance requirements.
Provide technical guidance to department personnel and cross-functional teams.
Develop long-range system plans and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Mentor colleagues and promote continuous improvement.
