Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks Engineer II/III to support reliability and lifecycle management of electrical systems across generation assets. The role combines hands-on problem solving, asset management, and project support to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.

You will evaluate equipment health, analyze data, and work with plant personnel to implement corrective actions while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders on capital projects and system upgrades.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering or equivalent.
• Masters degree may substitute for one year of experience.
• Experience in engineering-related positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support asset condition assessment programs for electrical systems and critical generation equipment.
• Develop and support condition monitoring, inspection, testing, and maintenance strategies.
• Provide engineering support for evaluation, troubleshooting, and resolution of electrical system issues.
• Analyze equipment health data and performance trends to identify reliability concerns and propose actions.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to troubleshoot equipment and implement corrective actions.
• Review design packages and provide input to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety.
