Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks a Long-Term Plant Reliability Engineer III/Senior to drive long-term reliability and performance of critical power generation assets. You will apply engineering analysis and strategic planning to support decisions that keep energy systems safe and efficient for Arizona customers.

You will analyze plant data, develop asset plans, and evaluate proposals, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to improve asset performance and reliability at APS sites.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree from an ABET-recognized program.
• Five years of engineering-related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant performance, equipment reliability, and data to identify long-term improvement opportunities.
• Develop long-range system and asset plans to maintain reliable power generation.
• Evaluate proposals, studies, and business cases to support decisions.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations teams and leaders to solve complex technical challenges.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders for reliability and operations.
