Job summary

Arizona Public Service Company (APS) is seeking an Engineer - Design/Configuration Management Electrical/I&C to help ensure the reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of critical power system infrastructure at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Stations. Your work will support safe, dependable energy delivery for APS customers.

You will provide engineering analysis and technical support for electrical and I&C systems, help develop long-range plans, evaluate requests, and present findings

Qualifications

ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
Five years of engineering experience required; Master’s may substitute one year.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience in the utility industry; nuclear industry experience for PVNGS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering analysis and technical support for electrical and I&C systems.
Develop long-range system plans and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Evaluate engineering requests and propose data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and operations to implement technical solutions.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Mentor colleagues and promote continuous improvement.
