Job summary

Electria is seeking an Electrical Engineer to oversee solar and BESS projects from development through construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations. You will lead construction engineering, shape EPC technical requirements, and act as Owner's Engineer on active builds.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license and a degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar and BESS projects, and can stay calm under pressure in a remote work setup.

Qualifications

• PE license is required and must be active in any U.S. state.
• Experience leading utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements within EPC agreements and support RFP/bid reviews.
• Oversee construction to ensure drawings, specs, and quality standards are followed.
• Serve as Owner’s Engineer, coordinating external firms and reviewing studies and design packages.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and commissioning plans; support energization as SME.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and turnover materials to the Project Director.
