Job summary

EVS is seeking a Senior PV & BESS Electrical Engineer to lead utility-scale solar and battery storage projects from concept through IFC design packages. You’ll collaborate with clients, guide engineering teams, and own design delivery in a dynamic renewable-energy environment.

Ideally you have 5+ years in the field, strong AutoCAD expertise, and familiarity with NEC standards. Hybrid/remote work options support balanced collaboration and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in utility-scale solar or BESS.
• Experience producing electrical design packages for PV/BESS.

Responsibilities

• Technically lead utility-scale PV and BESS projects and define electrical requirements.
• Translate requirements into electrical designs and CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with clients on schedules and budgets; ensure project delivery.
• Lead IFC electrical plan sets for solar and energy storage facilities.
• Mentor and grow engineering team members.
