EVS, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead PV and BESS design for renewable energy projects in North America. You’ll collaborate with project managers and clients to define design bases and ensure code-compliant, high-quality deliverables.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of PV/BESS experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and thorough NEC knowledge. This hybrid/remote role offers professional growth and exposure to utility-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of PV/BESS or electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical design standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of PV and BESS projects with PMs and clients to establish the basis of design and requirements.
• Develop site layouts, equipment arrangements, and construction drawing packages.
• Lead plan set development for accuracy, constructability, and deliverables.
• Prepare BOMs and quantity takeoffs using AutoCAD and Excel.
• Review junior designers' work and coach team members on improvements.
