Job summary

Applied Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – Power Distribution for a remote role. You will design and support low and medium voltage power distribution products from concept through manufacturing, performing component selection, schematic development, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 1–2+ years of experience in electrical design, strong knowledge of electrical ratings, and familiarity with NEC/UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2+ years in electrical engineering or power distribution design.
• Experience with low/medium voltage AC systems and electrical ratings.

Responsibilities

• Design and support low/medium voltage power distribution products from concept through manufacturing.
• Research and select electrical components based on requirements and standards.
• Develop electrical designs, schematics, and technical documentation for manufacturing and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective power distribution solutions.
• Support product validation, prototype testing, and continuous improvement.
