Job summary

GE Vernova seeks an EHS Manager (NAM) to lead strategic and tactical EHS efforts for field services across North America. You will drive a safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage EHS staff to support project execution.

You will partner with project and operations leaders, conduct site audits, and oversee risk management from bidding through project life cycles. The role requires significant travel and a commitment to continuous EHS improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS experience, with field service exposure.
• Deep understanding of North American EHS regulations in Power/Energy, Electrification, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 65% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational safety culture with project and operations managers.
• Ensure site regulatory compliance through audits and inspections.
• Support ITO processes by evaluating EHS risks in bidding and execution phases.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of digital EHS tools.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver targeted EHS training and reporting.
