Job summary

nVent seeks an experienced EHS leader to champion safety and environmental programs across multiple global facilities. You will develop strategic plans, monitor progress, and drive compliance with regulatory requirements while advancing sustainability aligned to nVent 2030 targets.

You will lead cross-functional teams, perform audits, and implement SMS/EMS systems to achieve ISO certifications. This role requires travel and collaboration across cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field; MBA or master's level education preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading safety and environmental management systems.
• Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment with a matrix reporting structure.
• Proven ability to influence without authority, lead change, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Multi-country and multi-cultural work experience preferred.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and harmonize EHS programs across facilities.
• Develop strategic EHS plans and monitor progress.
• Lead EHS audits, inspections and investigations.
• Implement SMS and EMS achieving ISO certifications for focus facilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for permitting, emissions, and waste.
