Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Manager for GSI Services (NAM) to lead safety culture across North America field service operations and ensure regulatory compliance while managing EHS site personnel to support project execution.

Responsibilities include partnering with Project and Operations Managers, conducting site audits, managing EHS risks during bidding and project lifecycles, driving continuous improvement with digital tools, leading incident investigations, and delivering targeted training

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EHS experience in field service environments.
• Deep understanding of North American EHS legislation in power/energy or oil & gas sectors.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to travel up to 65% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical EHS leadership for field service operations across North America.
• Lead site regulatory compliance, audits, inspections and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Support Inquiry to Order processes by evaluating EHS risks during bidding and project lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of digital EHS tools and platforms.
• Lead thorough investigations of incidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver targeted EHS training and ensure accurate reporting.
