Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an EHS Site Specialist to provide day-to-day safety and regulatory compliance support at our manufacturing facilities. You will conduct audits, train staff on safety practices, manage incident investigations, and collaborate with operations leaders to reduce EHS risks.

The role emphasizes hands-on site presence and proactive risk mitigation across equipment and process changes. A bachelor’s degree and 1 year of EHS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Services or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EHS within a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day EHS support at manufacturing sites.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for permits, reporting and policies.
• Manage injury reports and care coordination.
• Conduct EHS audits to support compliance.
• Provide training on safety procedures (forklifts, cranes, etc.).
• Investigate EHS incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations to address EHS issues on site.
• Assist with EHS program implementation and risk assessments.
