GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Operational EHS (Site Leader) for the Wilmington site. You will act as the onsite EHS authority, guiding daily environmental, health, and safety activities while leading a medium-to-large team and influencing budgets and local safety policies.

This role involves cross‑functional collaboration across production and facility management to sustain world‑class safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or equivalent with extensive EHS/operations experience.
• Experience in fixed facilities and industrial environments.
• Ability to lead and develop mid‑to‑large EHS teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary onsite EHS authority and daily lead for environmental, health, and safety activities.
• Lead and mentor a medium‑to‑large EHS team, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Partner with production and facility managers to resolve complex EHS challenges and drive improvements.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and implement site‑specific safety practices and risk mitigations.
• Influence safety priorities with stakeholders and negotiate with internal/external partners.
