GAF is seeking a Director of EHS Operations to develop and implement world-class safety programs across manufacturing facilities and operations. This role drives a proactive, behavior-based safety culture, and reports to the VP of Environmental, Health and Safety, supporting EHS staff and standards.

The position requires 10 years of EHS experience with 5 years in management, strategic thinking, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 10 years EHS experience, 5 years managing others.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining client success.
• Excellent organization and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of Google Suite Office.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy that aligns with corporate business objectives.
• Champion and drive a proactive, zero-incident mindset and behavior-based safety culture.
• Lead enterprise-wide EHS risk assessment and mitigation processes with PSM and industrial hygiene.
• Develop, implement, and govern EHS management systems and tools with data analytics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance over EHS standards and training.
• Oversee incident investigation and reporting with root-cause analyses.
• Lead, mentor, and coach EHS professionals and leadership across sites.
