GAF is seeking a Director of EHS Operations to develop and lead world-class safety programs across our manufacturing facilities. You will shape strategy, drive risk reduction, and ensure regulatory compliance while mentoring EHS professionals.

This remote, US-based role requires 50% travel domestically and a BA/BS in safety or engineering with 10 years of EHS experience, including 5 years managing others. The base salary ranges from $189,000 to $241,500.

Qualifications

• 10 years EHS experience, 5 years management of others.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities while focusing on client success.
• Excellent organization and communication skills for technical discussions.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute a comprehensive EHS strategy aligned with business goals.
• Drive a proactive safety culture with engagement, transparency, and accountability across sites.
• Lead enterprise-wide EHS risk assessment and mitigation with PSM and industrial hygiene.
• Govern EHS management systems and leverage data analytics for corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and governance over safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee incident investigations and implement preventative actions.
• Mentor EHS professionals and leadership with ongoing training.
