Job summary

D2L is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help customers maximize value from the Brightspace platform. You will learn client needs, propose tailored solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to students, instructors, CIOs, and HR leaders alike.

Your role involves hands-on product expertise, compelling demonstrations, and collaboration with the sales team to drive outcomes across North America. Remote work is supported with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience using Brightspace as an admin or instructor.
• Experience in a higher education edtech role is advantageous.
• Comfort presenting complex education and technology concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Become a hands-on expert in the Brightspace platform and validate practical use.
• Assist sales by detailing functionality, usage, architecture, and deployment.
• Prepare and present tailored product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
• Create compelling value-oriented presentations with the sales team.
• Conduct needs analysis sessions with prospects and identify customizations.
• Provide feedback to product management on use cases and trends.
• Develop technical documentation for prospects and engage internal SMEs.
• Attend sales meetings and conferences; travel 25–50% across North America.
