Job summary

Grand Canyon Education, Inc. is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Silver Springs, MD territory in a remote role. The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 per year with potential six-figure earnings after five years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

You will work with a supportive team, train in Phoenix, AZ, and engage in strategy, partnerships, and counseling to guide prospective students through the admissions process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report.
• Outstanding time management skills in a multi-hat role with travel.
• Clear communication skills in person, writing and on the phone.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed with ownership of time spent with GCE students.
• High emotional intelligence with ability to coach diverse students.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and flexible schedule due to travel.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and execution: identify and implement event plans for your territory; raise awareness of online programs in education, healthcare and business; drive inquiry generation.
• Build high-impact partnerships and deliver informational presentations, calls and emails.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and promote university student success and growth.
