Job summary

Learner Education is hiring Academic Sales Representatives to engage families seeking tutoring services. This fully remote, inbound role focuses on understanding needs, communicating value, handling objections, and guiding qualified families toward enrollment.

Applicants should be motivated, goal-driven, and skilled at building relationships via phone, email, and text. Compensation includes base salary and uncapped commission with healthcare benefits and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of phone-based sales experience.
• Experience meeting sales quotas and revenue targets.
• Ability to discuss pricing and close opportunities.
• Self-motivated with leads and follow-through.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and families who expressed interest in tutoring services.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand academic challenges and tutoring needs.
• Recommend tutoring solutions and communicate their value.
• Discuss pricing, handle objections, and close enrollments.
• Build trust through professional phone, text, and email communication.
• Follow up with prospective families and move opportunities through the pipeline.
• Manage a high volume of inbound leads while maintaining a great customer experience.
• Maintain CRM records with conversations and enrollment outcomes.
• Work toward enrollment, revenue, and performance goals.
• Take ownership of results and welcome coaching to improve performance.
