Qualifications

• Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and communities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• PC skills including working knowledge with Microsoft Office products
• Designated office space in order to work from home

Responsibilities

• Monitor the processing of files between mainframe and distributed system and communicate with trading partners and CMS to resolve issues
• Interact directly with stakeholders to resolve issues within SLAs and respond to inquiries promptly
• Provide front-line EDI Hotline support, maintain schedule adherence and monitor system limits
• Work independently on assigned business partners with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot data file transmission and transaction errors and verify interfaces are working properly
• Manage daily workflow queues across multiple systems and maintain internal tracking spreadsheets
• Document and maintain EDI procedures, identify errors and take corrective action to maintain EDI integrity
• Oversee EDI inquiry database and ensure detailed, standardized documentation for all interactions
• Conduct regular audits of EDI transactions and maintain HIPAA validation maps and rules
• Coordinate tasks with partners to ensure proper formatting and accurate response files for transactions
• Assist in UAT for system enhancements prior to production
• Assist in creating educational material for COBSW site and train customers/internal staff
• Collaborate with external customers to ensure smooth transition from testing to production
• Respond to CMS inquiries from Central and Regional Offices
