Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an EDI Operations Specialist to support enrollment, claims, financial, and eligibility transactions using ANSI X12 HIPAA formats. You will interface with analysts, developers, project managers, and trading partners to manage EDI transactions and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include EDI setup, mapping, monitoring, documentation, and post-production support. The role requires strong SQL skills and experience in healthcare enrollment/claims systems, with remote work

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in analyzing EDI data for content/formatting issues.
• Minimum 2 years using SQL queries to retrieve data.
• Minimum 2 years reading/analyzing/formatting/translating EDI data.
• Minimum 2 years implementing EDI setup and mapping.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal and external customers to process EDI requests.
• Support implementation of EDI connections with trading partners and providers.
• Verify and monitor EDI processes; troubleshoot issues and maintain docs.
• Assist in defining enhancements and upgrades; perform mapping and monitoring.
• Support testing efforts including UAT and defect resolution.
• Provide on-call support as necessary.
