Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Remote ECH Field Engineer for the Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team. The role focuses on deploying and supporting Emergency Call Handling (ECH) solutions across on-premise and cloud-hosted environments, with substantial travel (50-75% depending on project).

You will configure systems, test sites, and troubleshoot connectivity to cloud services. Candidates should have 5+ years in engineering/technical roles, strong networking/telephony knowledge,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical environments.
• Experience with deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Certifications in cloud or networking are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved timely.
• Participates in the development and approval of migration/MOP documents for cloud migrations.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as needed.
