Humana, Inc. is seeking an E-Referral Specialist for a part-time, remote role in the United States. You will handle referrals, data collection, documentation, and compliance, serving as the initial contact to promote continuity of care.

You will monitor e-referral systems, communicate with internal teams, and maintain an ERST log while meeting productivity and regulatory requirements. The role requires English fluency and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Typing 40 words per minute or more.
• Comprehend and apply basic math when analyzing data and generating reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Good logical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to follow strict timelines.
• Effective communication with all levels of management.
• Ability to work with multiple screens/systems and maintain detail
• Time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Regular attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor multiple e-referral systems to identify new referrals and manage alerts and notifications.
• Monitor email for requests to pull referrals from all applicable referral systems; perform follow-up and manage communication.
• Scan documentation to determine patient eligibility for services (service area, orders, insurance, etc.).
• Monitor status of all referrals received and report status weekly.
• Communicate with branch, sales, and leadership by email or phone for status updates and referral decisions.
• Maintain daily ERST log with all referrals and ROC decisions.
• Maintain acceptable productivity level as determined by assignment and standards.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures and best practices.
