Job summary

829 Studios, a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency, seeks an E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to own Klaviyo-driven lifecycle campaigns for multiple clients. You will collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams to deliver strategic email programs and automated workflows.

You will guide performance reviews, manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, and serve as a thought leader on email automation within the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience, agency experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Klaviyo experience.
• Experience leading strategy for an e-commerce brand.
• Familiar with ESPs and marketing automation technologies like Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising and related technologies.
• Data-driven mindset with analytics skills.
• Interest in mentoring others.
• Proactive, team-oriented with a client-first attitude.
• SMS experience in Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules and budget goals.
• Review monthly performance, highlight wins, and suggest future improvements.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives and calendars.
• Own client relationships and define campaign vision and execution.
• Ensure timely deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align marketing activities.
• Lead email marketing thought leadership across programs.
