Job summary

829 Studios, a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency, seeks a mid-level E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to own Klaviyo-driven lifecycle programs and drive performance for client accounts. You will lead campaigns, optimize workflows, and collaborate with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social teams.

Applicants should have 4+ years in email marketing (agency preferred), experience with e-commerce brands, and strong marketing automation knowledge across Marketo,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience; agency experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an E-commerce brand.
• Strong familiarity with email marketing service providers and marketing automation technologies.
• Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
• Experience with client engagements around marketing automation and lead generation.
• Experience in digital advertising landscape and related technologies.
• Familiarity with marketing initiatives and goals; data-driven insights and reports.
• Relevant work experience in a marketing role; campaigns using lead generation and nurturing strategies.
• SMS experience in platforms like Sakari and Attentive.

Responsibilities

• Execute client lifecycle marketing plans to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with wins, improvements, and future recommendations.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives—strategies, programs, calendars.
• Create and implement integrated email marketing calendars with other marketing initiatives.
• Ensure timely and successful deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask and coordinate activities to meet multiple agile deadlines.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
