Job summary

829 Studios seeks an E-Commerce Email Marketing Strategist to drive lifecycle programs within Klaviyo and orchestrate client engagements from discovery to deployment. You will own strategies, calendars, and performance reviews, collaborating with Client Services, Web, Paid Search, and Paid Social to align initiatives with client goals.

The role requires 4+ years in email marketing, deep Klaviyo experience, and a product-owner mindset to shape how we service clients and lead as a thought leader

Qualifications

• 4+ years of email marketing experience - agency experience strongly preferred.
• 2 years of Klaviyo experience at a minimum
• Experience leading and executing strategy for an E-commerce brand.
• Strong familiarity with ESPs and marketing automation like Marketo, MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Braze, etc.
• Proven track record with cross-functional collaboration and achieving high customer satisfaction
• Experience involving client engagements around marketing automation technology, email marketing, and/or lead generation
• Experience within the digital advertising landscape and related technologies
• Familiarity with marketing initiatives and goals; comfort with business analytics and producing data-driven insights and reports
• Interest in or experience being a mentor
• A “lean in” personality willing to immerse themselves in learning the client’s business
• Outstanding interpersonal skills; excellent verbal/written communication with clients
• Initiative and ability to work in a team environment
• Relevant work experience in a marketing role - tactics for lead generation and lead nurturing
• SMS experience in Sakari and Attentive

Responsibilities

• Execute clients’ lifecycle marketing plans proactively to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
• Lead monthly performance reviews to highlight wins, areas for improvement, and recommendations.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Identify potential issues and propose solutions to campaigns or projects.
• Manage all elements of email marketing initiatives—strategies, programs, and calendars.
• Create and implement email calendars integrated with other marketing initiatives.
• Own client relationships and define campaign vision; ensure execution by the team.
• Ensure timely and successful deployment of targeted email campaigns.
• Multitask, prioritize, and coordinate activities to meet agile deadlines.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams.
• Own email marketing thought leadership.
