Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking a Dry Mix Sales Representative to manage the Sakrete & Amerimix product lines for dealers, distributors and contractors. The role includes maintaining existing business, generating leads, creating new opportunities, increasing orders and building strong customer relationships.

The position is remote with up to 75% travel and requires residence in Connecticut or Massachusetts. You will leverage CRM tools, analyze market trends, prepare reports and negotiate quotes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education.
• 3+ years related experience in sales or account management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience within the building materials industry.
• Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective relationships with current customers to increase sales and revenue.
• Identify and prospect for new customers.
• Work with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies.
• Analyze market trends and develop action plans for market shifts.
• Prepare sales projects and prospecting activity reports for monthly meetings.
• Compile dealer sales data and interpret buying cycles to plan production.
• Quote prices, terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
