The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in sales, and building materials experience. Strong CRM and MS Office skills are essential to drive revenue and build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education.
• 3+ years related experience in sales or account management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience within the building materials industry.
• Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities.
• Travel up to 75%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective relationships with current customers to increase sales and revenue.
• Identify and prospect for new customers.
• Work with customers and contractors to develop sales strategies.
• Analyze market trends and plan actions to capitalize on shifts.
• Prepare sales projects and reports for monthly meetings.
• Compile dealer sales data and inform production planning.
• Quote prices, terms and contracts for orders.
