Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Operations (Ops) Lead to oversee day-to-day driving operations and guide a team of field resources. This remote role supports US operations and reports to the Country Manager.

The position emphasizes SOP adherence, performance tracking, and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities include coaching drivers, conducting reviews with program managers, managing workloads, and delivering weekly status updates.

Qualifications

• Requires a diploma or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven people management experience (TL role) with strong leadership.
• Able to manage fast-paced operations and urgent program issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Driving Operations field resources.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and adhere to SOPs.
• Coach and mentor drivers to close knowledge gaps.
• Conduct periodic reviews with teams and client Program Managers.
• Coordinate logistics and resource planning for projects.
• Provide status reports and support for special projects.
• Escalate issues to management as needed.
• Ensure quality, safety and financial controls.
