Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manager, Contracts to support the STaRS product area within Radio Frequency Solutions. You will manage cradle-to-grave contract administration, from proposal through closeout, ensuring compliance with policies and customer specifications.

You will interact with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, and customers to negotiate and administer complex contracts while mitigating risks and ensuring successful business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with U.S. Government contracts under FAR and/or DFARS

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and be a critical member of the PMO.
• Develop and respond to RFPs, contract negotiation, contract administration, NDAs, and other business agreements.
• Manage contract types: CPFF, FFP, DCS.
• Work with DCMA/DCAA on government contracts.
• Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes and issues.
• Provide advice on contractual rights/obligations, regulations, and policy to mitigate risks.
• Advise management on contract negotiation and administration matters.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and guide lower-level professionals.
