Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Contracts to lead contract management for a portfolio of classified programs within the ASDS Contracts organization. You will collaborate with program management, counsel, and cross-functional teams to drive proposals, negotiations, and contract execution while mitigating risks.

Qualified candidates typically hold a University Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; security clearance (TS/SCI) is required.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred for higher responsibility.
• Experience with US Government contracts administration/management including proposals, cost structures, and delivery schedules.
• FAR/DFARS knowledge or other US Government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support a vast portfolio of classified programs and key pursuits.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Office of General Counsel, and cross-functional peers.
• Provide strategic recommendations for proposals, negotiations, and execution issues.
• Communicate with internal/external customers on contractual changes and issues.
• Develop strategies to address complex issues with thorough information gathering and analysis.
