Job summary

RTX is seeking a Contracts Manager for a remote role supporting our Cedar Rapids, Iowa program team. You will manage contracts, review terms, and lead negotiations with customers and partners. A DoD clearance or ability to obtain one is required for this role.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in government contracts (FAR/DFARS), TINA processes, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-stakes proposals. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) with 8+ years relevant experience.
• US DoD security clearance required or able to obtain.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS government contracts.
• Experience leading contract negotiations with customers.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve contractual matters.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to influence business decisions.
• Manage contract scope and terms to align with overall contract.
• Analyze RFPs, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and administer contracts.
• Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters with critical thinking and stakeholder collaboration.
• Provide strategic guidance on contractual rights/obligations to mitigate risks.
• Multi-task routine and complex contract activities with quick response needs.
