Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Federal Project Manager—DoD to supervise deployments and lead cross-functional teams across the project lifecycle. The role supports DoD initiatives with flexible remote work within the United States and requires significant travel, including coordination with DHS clearance processes.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and technical proposals, ensuring contract compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of experience in LMR/Engineering/PM/Govt/Public Safety
• PM experience in government/public sector contracts preferred
• Strong risk mitigation and financial oversight skills
• Proven ability to lead remote cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment of Motorola Solutions products and services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to launch new solutions or upgrades.
• Direct full project lifecycle from initiation to handoff with metrics oversight.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality standards.
• Draft SOWs, change orders, and bids for system integration.
• Prepare documentation for internal reviews and external updates.
