Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Engineer for a REMOTE WORK role with our Utility Services team, supporting projects in Pennsylvania.

You will prepare distribution packages, assist with 2.4kV–34kV line design, and collaborate with engineers to produce drawings and cost estimates. This remote position requires field adaptability, client communication, and adherence to NESC standards, with travel as needed and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) required.
• EIT or FE exam preferred.
• PE license from a state licensing board preferred.
• Understanding of engineering principles and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare distribution voltage construction packages for overhead and underground projects.
• Assist with distribution line design 2.4kV - 34kV.
• Create or modify drawings and as-built documents with engineers.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Provide technical support to clients and support business development.
