Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with electric utilities or consulting.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Experience with design engineering for electric distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects using GIS and listed tools.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Review engineering design packages with clients.
• Coordinate field data collection and office design work.
• Initiate process improvements to improve efficiency and quality.
