Leidos is seeking Distribution Engineers & Designers in Michigan who will design electrical utility projects, develop work packages, and coordinate with clients to ensure high-quality deliverables. The position requires a 2+ year background in utility design, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with NESC. Occasional travel to the customer territory in Michigan may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; electrical/civil/industrial preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with electric utilities.
• Experience with design engineering for electric distribution.
• Knowledge of NESC and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and Street Light projects using GIS and CAD tools.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Review engineering design packages with clients.
• Coordinate field data collection and client follow-up.
