Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Distribution Designer/Engineer for a primarily remote role, supporting utility projects across multiple regions. You will design and convert overhead and underground distribution systems, collaborating virtually with project teams and occasionally visiting the office.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in distribution design, hands-on AutoCAD skills, and experience with OH to UG conversions. Strong communication and remote collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of distribution design experience using designated tools.
• 2+ years in electrical or distribution engineering.
• OH to UG conversion experience.

Responsibilities

• Design distribution for power delivery projects using standard platforms.
• Update drawings and models in AutoCAD and designated tools.
• Manage OH to UG conversion projects and ensure compliant designs.
• Use Maximo to track work orders and project data.
• Create documentation, drawings, reports, and calculations.
