Job summary

GameChange Energy is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our North America market penetration strategy in distributed generation, targeting 1 MW to 20 MW projects and partnerships with regional EPCs, developers, and project owners.

This full‑time role requires building a robust sales pipeline, coordinating with engineering and supply chain teams, and delivering monthly pipeline reports and market intelligence to division leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in distributed solar sales with a proven track record preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering, finance and marketing.
• Self-directed and resourceful, detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sales pipeline of distributed generation projects (1 MW - 20 MW).
• Target C&I customers and community solar developers.
• Develop strategic partnerships with regional EPCs, developers, and project owners.
• Track market activities, competitors, and strategic positioning.
• Develop detailed customer personas and market penetration strategies.
• Manage and maintain opportunities in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams.
• Provide monthly pipeline reports and market intelligence updates to division leadership.
• Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment.
