Job summary

GameChange Energy seeks a Business Development Manager to lead the North America distributed generation market. This position is based in Norwalk, CT, with a preference for East Coast candidates; remote applicants from other locations are welcome.

You will build a robust sales pipeline, develop partnerships with EPCs and developers, and coordinate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams to expand market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in distributed solar sales with a proven track record preferred.
• Self-directed, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sales pipeline of distributed generation projects (1 MW - 20 MW).
• Target C&I customers and community solar developers.
• Develop strategic partnerships with regional EPCs, developers, and project owners.
• Track market activities, competitors, and strategic positioning.
• Develop detailed customer personas and market penetration strategies.
• Manage and maintain opportunities in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams.
• Provide monthly pipeline reports and market intelligence updates to division leadership.
• Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment.
