GameChange Energy is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead North America market penetration for distributed generation. The role will build pipelines for 1 MW–20 MW projects, target C&I customers and community solar developers, and create strategic partnerships with EPCs, developers, and project owners.

You will track market activities, maintain CRM opportunities, and coordinate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams, reporting to division leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• Experience in distributed solar sales experience with proven track record preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering, finance and marketing.
• Must be self-directed and resourceful, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sales pipeline of distributed generation projects (1 MW - 20 MW).
• Target C&I customers and community solar developers.
• Develop strategic partnerships with regional EPCs, developers, and project owners.
• Track market activities, competitors, and strategic positioning.
• Develop detailed customer personas and market penetration strategies.
• Manage and maintain opportunities in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and supply chain teams.
• Provide monthly pipeline reports and market intelligence updates to division leadership.
• Strong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environment.
