Prudential Financial in the United States is seeking a Disability Claims Specialist to join the Long-Term Disability Core Team. You will serve as a technical expert, applying advanced claim management knowledge to guide professionals and support the Team Lead.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Long-Term Disability policy provisions.
• Ability to independently analyze complex or high-risk claim scenarios.
• Experience coaching claim professionals and giving actionable feedback.
• Ability to interpret claim data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, and Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Long Term Disability technical expert to the Team Lead and claim professionals on complex claim management matters.
• Provide technical guidance on policy interpretation, medical and vocational considerations, claim strategy, benefit eligibility, and next steps.
• Coach claim professionals through complex claim scenarios and reinforce effective management practices.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback to improve technical capability and decision quality.
• Analyze claim activity and outcomes to identify trends, risks, and coaching opportunities.
• Monitor claim block health by analyzing inventory and performance indicators.
• Support the development and delivery of technical training for claim professionals.
• Consult on high-risk or technically complex claims and recommend approaches aligned with policy.
• Support additional priorities as assigned based on evolving team and business needs.
