Symetra Financial Corporation is seeking a Disability Intake Specialist to support the call center with timely, accurate claim information for STD and LTD products. The role emphasizes empathetic customer service, data collection, and precise documentation of claim details.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Contract, customer service, or data entry experience and knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused disability and/or leave claim information to external and internal customers.
• Solicit information from sources to document new submissions and ongoing claims with high accuracy.
• Record summaries of information in the claim system with clarity and detail.
• Process incoming documents with high coding integrity and distribute immediately.
• Collaborate with team to support a positive work environment and continuous learning.
