Symetra seeks a dedicated STD Case Manager to render timely, accurate decisions on short-term disability, SDI, and absence management claims. You will collect information from clinical, vocational, employer, and financial sources, compare it to agreements, and document decisions comprehensively in the claim system.

You will maintain compliance, aim for quality service, and work with teammates to meet performance metrics while delivering empathetic, customer-focused support throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
• 3+ years STD claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of STD, SDI, and Absence management products preferred.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Make timely, accurate STD, SDI, and AM claim decisions.
• Gather clinical, vocational, employer, financial, and other data.
• Document information in the claim system accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external sources.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and meet team metrics.
