Job summary

Symetra is seeking an Associate STD Case Manager in the United States to make timely STD, SDI, and Absence Management claim decisions. You will collect data from clinical, vocational, employer, and other sources, compare against contracts and policies, and render decisions quickly.

Maintain documentation in the claim system and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders. You will work to meet or exceed departmental metrics while upholding regulatory requirements and delivering

Qualifications

• Experience handling STD, SDI, and Absence Management claims.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities
