Job summary

Prudential Financial in the United States is seeking an experienced Disability Claims Specialist to serve as a Long-Term Disability expert. You will guide claim professionals, interpret complex policy provisions, and support the Team Lead with prioritizing actions to maintain block health.

You will coach staff, analyze trends, and contribute to training and knowledge sharing while maintaining ownership and execution with the assigned claim professional.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Long-Term Disability claim management experience with deep knowledge of complex claim evaluation, consultation, and resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of LTD policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations, and benefit calculations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert and trusted resource on complex claim management matters for the Team Lead and claim professionals.
• Provide technical guidance on policy interpretation and claim strategy, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Coach claim professionals through complex scenarios, provide actionable feedback, and strengthen critical thinking and decision quality.
