Job summary

Verto Education is seeking a Director of Student Onboarding and Visa Operations to lead the end-to-end student journey from deposit to on-site arrival. You will shape onboarding and visa processes, partner with Admissions, Marketing, and Academics, and drive scalable solutions for a global, remote-first organization.

The role requires 8+ years of leadership in student-facing environments, a strategic mindset, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive experience leading customer service or student-facing teams.
Excellent strategic thinking with strong analytics and a student-first mindset.
Experience mentoring teams and managing cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work remote and travel 1–2 weeks per year.
Based in the US and available to work in US time zones.

Responsibilities

Owns the strategic direction of onboarding and visa operations, setting priorities and budget.
Develops and improves processes to scale services and reduce logistical friction.
Coordinate with Admissions, Marketing, and Academic teams to align processes with company strategy.
Builds and leads teams; mentors staff and optimizes staffing across peak times.
Prepare and present updates to executive leadership in reviews.
