Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Director of Analytics & Insights to lead RWD/RWE strategy and data-driven insights across therapeutic areas. You will manage a small team, partner with Product, Data Science and Technology, and shape the evidence principles for AI-enabled solutions.

In this role, you will translate clinical reasoning into robust study designs, ensure defensible logic, and drive data optimisation for AI-ready real-world evidence across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' hands-on experience in RWD study design and statistical ownership.
• Fluency in US real-world data sources and their strengths/limits.
• Ability to translate clinical reasoning into cohort definitions and rules.
• Experience working with claims, EHR, registries and lab data.
• MD or equivalent medical qualification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set the RWD/RWE strategy and productisation across therapeutic areas.
• Own cross-functional relationships with Product, Services, Technology and Data Science.
• Translate complex RWD concepts into clinically grounded business rules.
• Define cohort definitions, endpoints, and study design with clear documentation.
• Ensure AI-ready, defensible RWE outputs and scalable data pipelines.
• Lead a small team of RWD specialists and mentor junior members.
